A house anyone, anywhere, can build.
Our answer to expensive, unsustainable construction and the core of what HH does.
The Problem
There aren’t enough houses for the people who need them. Across the world, demand for housing keeps growing, but the supply of places people can actually afford to live hasn’t kept up.
The houses that do exist are often priced far beyond what an average person or family can afford. And building new houses isn’t a real alternative for most people either: by the time you add up land, labor, materials, permits, and everything else involved in a traditional build, the total cost puts a new home out of reach for exactly the people who need one most.
On top of that, conventional construction is resource-intensive and wasteful. Building the way the industry has always built doesn’t just cost too much money it costs too much for the environment too.
The result: a housing system that works well for very few people, and leaves everyone else priced out.
Our Solution: System Haus
System Haus is a building method designed from the ground up to fix this. It’s a systemized way of building a house that is more affordable, more sustainable, and dramatically simpler than traditional construction without compromising on quality.
The core idea is simple: if we take the complexity, guesswork, and inflated cost out of building a house, almost anyone should be able to build one regardless of their budget, their location, or their construction experience.
What Makes It Different
Anyone can build it
No construction background or specialized skills required.
Anywhere it can be built
The system is designed to adapt to different sites, climates, and regulations.
Affordable by design
Costs are engineered down from the start, not cut as an afterthought.
Sustainable materials and methods
Built to use fewer resources and create less waste than conventional construction.
Consistent quality
A repeatable system means fewer of the costly mistakes and delays typical of one-off builds.
Today vs. System Haus
Building a house means hiring specialized trades, sourcing scattered materials, absorbing months of delays, and paying a price that can put home ownership out of reach entirely. The process is slow, expensive, and inaccessible to most people without deep construction knowledge or a large budget.
The process is standardized, streamlined, and designed around affordability and sustainability from day one. Building a home becomes something far more people can actually do with a clearer cost, a clearer process, and a smaller environmental footprint.
That’s the shift we’re building toward: from construction that works for a few, to a system that works for anyone, anywhere.
Frequently Asked Questions
System Haus is HH's systemized approach to building houses a method designed to make construction simpler, faster, more affordable, and more sustainable, so that it's accessible to people without construction experience.
Anyone who needs an affordable, sustainable place to live and has been priced out of both the existing housing market and traditional new construction including individuals, families, and property owners looking for a better way to build.
No. System Haus is designed specifically so that construction experience isn’t a requirement. That’s one of its core advantages over traditional building methods.
Cost is engineered into the system from the start through standardization, more efficient materials and processes, and a build method that avoids much of the complexity (and expense) of traditional, one-off construction projects.
It’s built around using fewer resources and generating less waste than conventional construction, with materials and methods chosen for their environmental footprint as well as their cost and durability.
The system is designed to adapt to different locations, sites, and conditions. As we grow, we’re continuing to refine how it fits different regions and regulatory environments.
It means we're early, and we're building our track record project by project. What it doesn't mean is a lack of focus: everything we do is measured against one goal making building more affordable and sustainable for everyone.
